Other Team Cars
Dallas and Dave Schultz race in Nostalgia Super Stock circuit as a father and son team.
From 2004 until 2009, Dallas raced a 72 Dodge Demon in a class called Nostalgia Muscle Car, which some use as a stepping stone to Nostalgia Super Stock. The Demon is currently NMC legal, a mid 10-second car ready for Racing right now, and for sale.
Texas Black Magic
Dallas now races a black mid 9-second 1965 Coronet called Texas Black Magic in the FX Index of Nostalgia Super Stock..
Big Red Ram
When Dave discovered Nostalgia Super Stock racing in 2003, he sent his 1965 Dodge Coronet bracket car to Mark Artis at Texas Thunder Performance in Frisco, Texas to be totally rebuilt to NSS race standards in the FX Index. The car was ready in late 2006, and ran a couple of NSS events in 2007. The car ran in the FX Index of NSS in the NMCA series for 2008 and 2009. It had a new engine built in early 2010, but was not ready for the season opener — so Dave purchased and ran the Vitamin C 1963 Plymouth for the 2010 season. Big Red Ram has less than 100 passes on out since its conversion for NSS, but was freshened with a new engine, and a rebuilt clutch and transmission — all having zero race passes on them. Now that the Texas Whale is ready for the 2011 season — the Big Red Ram is offered for sale.
At the beginning of NMCA's 2010 season, the Big Red Ram was not yet ready to compete — so the Vitamin C was purchased for a racer inn New Mexico the week before the first race. The first time Dave even sat in the car was at the first NMCA race. He ran the car in all of the 6 races comprising the shortened Championship Points season – finishing in 4th Place for the year.
The car is kept as a backup car available for either Dave or Dallas in 2011. Vitamin C Racing Web Site.
